About the Instructor
Mary Beth Cunningham, MA, LCPC, is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and the owner of Caim Counseling, LLC. She has 20 years of experience providing mental health services to adolescents and adults across community mental health, trauma services, substance use treatment, and private practice. Mary Beth specializes in trauma-informed, client-centered counseling and works with individuals navigating anxiety, trauma, neurodivergence, and complex life transitions. Her approach emphasizes collaboration, respect for each client’s lived experience, and practical strategies that support healing and long-term growth. In her private practice, she provides therapy, diagnostic assessments, and treatment planning, and also offers clinical supervision for counselors working toward licensure. Prior to opening Caim Counseling, Mary Beth worked in community mental health settings throughout Illinois. Her work has included counseling survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence, supporting individuals experiencing substance use disorders, and advocating for youth and families navigating complex educational and behavioral systems. Mary Beth has also served as a part-time psychology instructor at Bradley University and has presented to professionals on trauma-informed care and supporting neurodivergent individuals.
Dr. Anni Reinking is a nationally recognized leader in trauma-informed care and early childhood systems. She is the Founder and CEO of Reinking Education Consulting, where she partners with schools, early childhood programs, healthcare providers, and social service agencies to strengthen practice, leadership, and systems of care. Dr. Reinking is known for translating research into practical strategies that professionals can use immediately in their work with children and families. She centers her work on advancing equity, strengthening protective factors, and building resilient systems that respond effectively to trauma and adversity. Her approach is deeply relational, strengths-based, and grounded in real-world implementation. An engaging speaker and facilitator, Dr. Reinking brings warmth, humor, and authenticity to her trainings while addressing complex topics with clarity and compassion. Participants consistently value her ability to create safe learning environments where difficult conversations can lead to meaningful change. Dr. Reinking is committed to empowering professionals with the knowledge, tools, and confidence needed to support healing, promote well-being, and improve outcomes for children, families, and communities.
